Since an early age, Laura has shown her natural gift spending hours and hours playing with crayons and paper.  Her later studies in art through different schools or self-learning only added new techniques to her artistic abilities.

 

Laura’s paintings express the spiritual side of the feminine soul, giving room to the imagination of those who admire her art.  Her colors are vibrant, warm and inviting, translating to the media her Latin roots.

 

Always looking for new ways to output her gifted creative talent, Laura works mainly with paintings, mosaics, stained and fused glass, and wire sculptures. Her latest creations are focused on recycled glass, having developed a line of decorative and utilitarian sustainable items, made of bottles, old windows, and other commonly refurbished glass.

 

Her creations are sold worldwide through Art by Heart Studio's Etsy shop and she offers sustainable glass art events in the TX Hill Country area.
